So after writing this blog last night, I wrote to Monkey Joe's as well and pretty much told them what happened and I got a response back! Here is what it said:
Ms. Plana, I am extremely saddened to hear about your experience at Monkey Joe's. Under two year olds are a little tricky, since some are more adventurous than others. The rule of thumb is, if they are going to play, then it's $5. That's exactly what should've of been expressed to you when you walked in. Could you please let me know what day and approximately what time you were there to address this matter appropriately? Also, I would like to send you your admission fee back, so if you could please let me know where to mail it. If you have any other children over 2, I would like to also send you a frequent user card, which is good for ten free visits. Again, I apologize for the experience you encountered and assure it will be taken care of immediately. Sincerely, Michelle Wehn
